We had an enjoyable stay at this charming hotel. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the location was peaceful and serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the hotel also had a heated pool, which was a great feature. We loved being able to take a refreshing swim in the pool after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. we had a lovely experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
One aspect that could be improved is the remote location of the hotel. It would be helpful for guests to know in advance that it is advisable to book an evening meal prior to their stay, as finding a restaurant nearby can be a bit challenging.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was really enjoyable. The beautiful scenery and proximity to several attractions provided great entertainment for our family. We loved the central location, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding towns and attractions. The medieval decor and excellent upkeep of the hotel were impressive. The staff was incredibly passionate about the history of the hotel and went out of their way to help us feel welcome. having a modern, well-equipped shower in our room was a pleasant surprise.
While the location was excellent, we did find that there were limited options for dining in the immediate area, which made it difficult for us to find a place to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner. The lighting in our room was a bit dim, making it hard for us to read at night.
